Rapid transit system in Stockholm, Sweden
The Stockholm Metro (Swedish: Stockholms tunnelbana) is a rapid transit system in Stockholm, the capital city of Sweden. Its first line opened in as the first metro line in the Nordic countries. Today, the system consists of three lines and stations, of which 47 are underground and 53 above ground. The system is owned by Region Stockholm via SL, the public transport authority for Stockholm County.[3] It is the only metro system in Sweden.
The metro's three coloured lines, Green, Red, and Blue, together form seven routes with different termini. All of these routes pass through the city centre, creating a highly centralised network. The main interchange for all three lines is T-Centralen station, where they intersect. In addition to T-Centralen, the system has three other interchange stations: Fridhemsplan, Slussen, and Gamla stan. Blå linje till Nacka – byggåret
Utbyggnaden av tunnelbanan till Nacka är inne på sitt sjätte byggår och inom kort är alla bergtunnlar utsprängda på hela Blå linje från Kungsträdgården till Nacka och Söderort.
– Vi har ungefär 30 meter kvar under Sickla park och det kommer att ta några veckor till, säger Theresa Millqvist, projektchef Blå linje till Nacka.
Kala bergrum blir tunnelbana
När berget är bortsprängt ska de tomma tunnlarna omvandlas till tunnelbana. Betongen är stommen i hela tunnelbaneanläggningen.
– Allt eftersom betongarbetet går framåt kan man se tunnelbanan växa fram. Nu byggs väggar, tak, plattformar, trappor och utrymmen för hissar och rulltrappor. Det är väldigt spännande när vi på riktigt kan se konturerna av den nya tunnelbanan, säger Theresa Millqvist.
Parallellt med betongarbetena pågår olika sorters markarbeten och installation av system för att till exempel hantera vatten som behöver ledas bort. Inne i tunnelsystemet byggs vägar för servicefordon och utrymning .
