Nrep to invest € million in underserved real estate segments in the Nordics
Nrep has established a € million fund to invest in underserved real estate segments in the Nordics, such as student housing, flexible living for young professionals, low- and middle-income rental apartments, active senior co-living, care homes, community retail centers and modern logistics
Nrep Nordic Strategies Fund III (the “Fund”) will focus on providing better real estate products to select underserved groups of users, including students, young professionals needing flexible affordable living, young families, active seniors seeking connectedness and seniors in need of more assisted living. The Fund will also service the growing need for efficient logistics buildings around the Nordic capitals and main infrastructure corridors.
Nrep has already secured investments using 25% of the fund. In addition to single property investments, Nrep is also working in close collaboration with state and municipal partners on strategic mixed-use projects.

Nrep exits two retail portfolios in Denmark
Following the sale of the largest portfolio of necessity-driven retail centers in Sweden in June , Nrep has now exited two additional retail portfolios in Denmark
Nrep and StepStone Real Estate (“SRE”) have partnered to recapitalize a portfolio of necessity-driven retail community centers in Denmark. This follows the recent sale of 16 stand-alone supermarkets in Denmark to JT Ross.
The necessity-driven retail community centers have a combined GLA of c. 73, sqm and are located in excellent suburban areas. The portfolio includes Trøjborg Centret and Veri Centret in Aarhus and Taastrup Torv, Vallensbæk Stationstorv, Frihedens Butikscenter, Lyngby Stationscenter and Holte Midtpunkt in the Greater Copenhagen area. The properties have further value creation potential and Nrep will continue to manage the portfolio.

Nordic real estate firm Nrep appoints long-serving Partner Claus Mathisen as new Chief Executive Officer
Today Nrep announces that Nrep Partner Claus Mathisen replaces Mikkel Bülow-Lehnsby as Chief Executive Officer. Mikkel Bülow-Lehnsby, one of three co-founders of Nrep, will continue full time on the Nrep Executive Committee and take part in setting the strategic direction, new investment strategies and business plans for the firm.
