Kristianstad University – HKR for short – is situated in the south of Sweden. It was founded in , but our roots can be traced back to and the start of the teacher training programme. We are proud of our 14 students and the diversity they represent. Our campus is concentrated to one location with easy access to nature and culture. Kristianstad is a small but historic city that dates back to the s. Here you can enjoy locally produced food, historic buildings and a range of sporting and cultural activities. Wide beaches and blue sea are only 20 minutes from campus. By train, you can easily reach the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen, and from here travel onwards to the rest of Europe and the world.
